Implementation

In Ghana, a baseline survey measuring women's participation vis a vis men's in grassroots communities, discovered that 56% of the households interviewed were headed by young, single women. With this data, the people went to the Chief and asked him to speak to the elders and to demand that all school age children (particularly girls) attend school, and that all children, (especially boys) be trained to be responsible members of households.
