Researching armament - petroleum coalition

Research at the Leonard Davis Institute for International Relations is 1. Examining the interaction between the arms imports and oil exports in the Middle East, with particular focus on the sales and profits of the large armament and petroleum corporations, and 2. Assessing the connection between these flows on the one hand, and the eruption of the oil crisis, the regional arms race and the outbreak of "energy conflicts" in the Middle East on the other.
