Promoting education about women's issues involves developing and disseminating targeted information, curricula, and training programs to raise awareness and understanding of challenges faced by women, such as gender-based violence, discrimination, and unequal access to resources. Implementation

UNESCO promotes teaching about women's issues in universities and introduction of women's perspectives into the social sciences. Support is given to research institutes that undertake cross-cultural studies on the changing role of women within the family and society, highlighting their active role as agents of social change. Results are incorporated into teaching materials.
