Participating

  • Accepting to participate

Description

Joining one's efforts with those of other people in some common endeavour.

Claim

  1. Participating is the strongest form of affirming a course of action; it calls forth affirmation from others.

Counter claim

  1. Participating marks an individual as committed to a course of action, whether he says he believes in it or not. Participating betrays a lack of faith in the ability of others to effect the task unaided.
