Networking non-governmental organizations

NGOs could strengthen communication by devising ways to share libraries, data banks, electronic equipment, meeting space, events, training efforts, analysis and preparation of laws, document production and, in some cases, specialized human resources as well. Besides reducing the competition for funds, such cooperative efforts would optimize results. Such activities can also link NGOs, giving them the opportunity to understand each other's interests, programmes and objectives.
