Fostering intelligence for humanity

  • Promoting global intelligence
  • Advocating world mind
  • Improving mental capability to address challenge of human survival

Context

As humans, we are cultural entities defined by myth, belief and social bonds which have for so long served to make us apart from each other, gathered into different groups in opposition. While it is probable that we come from a common stock, originating in Africa 100,000 to 200,000 years ago and from there spread throughout the world, we now live in a mental space that considers us as belonging to separate races, nations, religions, languages, regions, etc. It seems that our minds have not caught up with the realities of our common existence as creatures of the Earth. We do not know what to make of it. We do not know what it is to be us on a global scale.

Claim

  1. A well-educated and informed citizenry would not only prevent the occurrence of future wars but also result in a tremendous flowering of creative cultural activities and help develop a beneficial form of world citizenship.
