Injury due to contact with objects

  • Accidents due to colliding with people

Nature

Accidental injuries arise from bumping into objects, deliberately striking them, or being struck by them. The nature of the object as well as the force of the contact determines the nature of the damage. Injuries include skin cuts, lacerations and bruises as well as bone breakage, limb amputation and puncture, and internal tissue damage.
