Catholic women are among the top users of birth control worldwide. Nearly 60 percent of all Catholic women in the U.S. use some form of contraception, compared to three percent who use natural family planning. The numbers are similarly overwhelming in Catholic strongholds like Ireland, Italy and Latin America.
