Syndicalism was actively espoused from the 1850s to the 1920s in France, Italy and Spain, spreading also to the UK and the USA in modified forms.
Implementation
Like anarchism, syndicalism envisions the creation of independent units of workers running their own industries and tied together in a loose federation.
Claim
Political means are not strong enough to convince owners of the means of production to share their power with workers. Only organized force can effectively attain this end.
Counter-claim
Worker's unions have neither the management skills nor the will required to effectively operate the means of production and distribution.
