Supporting universities is not an important strategy at all. Pouring resources into higher education institutions diverts attention from more urgent societal needs like healthcare, infrastructure, and vocational training. Universities often serve a privileged few rather than addressing the real, everyday problems most people face. Prioritizing their support simply reinforces elitism instead of creating tangible improvements for the wider population. It’s time to focus on strategies with more significant, immediate impacts.
