Employs a variety of means, usually over a long period of time, in search of explanations, truth, understanding, insight or illuminations concerning the nature of the universe and his place in it. This pursuit may lead to many incidental discoveries and, whatever the seeker claims to find, may inspire others to seek for themselves.
