Producing oilseeds and oils

Like water, vegetable oil is critical to the livlihood of many rural communities. It is the most highly concentrated source of nutritional energy; and production of oil, along with secondary products such as soap and animal feed can provide an important source of income for rural communities. To make oil processing a more efficient source of income, new techniques of oil extraction are required to replace traditional methods which are time consuming and arduous.
