Organizing individual political engagement

Description

Providing a plethora of structural alternatives for the individual to comprehensively and intelligently engage in the decision-making procedures where he is most needed and in the most effective manner. The effect is to link individuals and groups with the structures that create the ordering principles for all areas of social process.

Context

An integral part of re-aligning grassroots pressure by enabling the individual to be a powerful and effective participant in the political process.

Implementation

Tactics include: corporate legislation to facilitate local participation in the political system through the creation of grassroots groups, the election of community representatives to local and state bodies and the installation of direct communication between representatives and constituents; political organizations to give the individual a voice through the creation of methodologies that will allow him to function as a political being through existent political parties; societal groups to create a new sense of political involvement in groups that have heretofore had little or no political basis; neighbourhood structures to establish within the smallest local geographical unit a system of structures to ensure that everyone is able to participate, involving outlets for participation in the areas of child education, media and vocation; and local problemat to have the community methodologically coordinate the direction of corporate expenditure in affecting the decision-making process. For example, someone committed to pollution legislation will attempt to align his group with sociologists and scientists for necessary data and with other cultural and political groups to be as effective as possible.
