Monitoring chemical residues in food
Implementation
The National Residue Survey (NRS) in Austraia impartially monitors chemical residues in Australian raw food commodities, such as meat, grains, horitcultural produce, eggs, dairy produce and honey. The size and scope of the NRS programmes enable it to reliably and independently report on the status of chemical residues in Australian produce, particularly for export commodities such as beef and grains. This public report is produced every 2 years.
