Integrating forestry with wildlife and fisheries

In Colombia, projects have been initiated that integrate forestry with wildlife and fishery, simultaneously enhancing rural incomes, reducing agricultural dependencies and introducing a diversity of management skills. The communities supplied the labor, tools and land, and the forest agency supplied seedlings, technical assistance, financial support and programme monitoring.
