Funding youth participation involves allocating financial resources to enable young people’s active involvement in decision-making, community projects, and policy development. This strategy addresses barriers such as lack of access, resources, and representation by providing grants, scholarships, or stipends. The practical intent is to empower youth, ensure their voices are heard, and foster inclusive solutions, thereby remedying exclusion and underrepresentation in social, economic, and political processes.

Implementation

The UNESCO Special Fund for Youth is to facilitate active participation of youth in educational, social and cultural development with particular emphasis on the underprivileged, the least developed countries and young workers.
