Description

To provide opportunities for individuals to see concrete embodiments of the human myth in order to assimilate a new self-story in everyday corporate life and to enable workers to regain the image of a significant vocation.

Context

An integral part of recreating human mythology to enable an individual to create a new self story, seeing himself in his local situation as a global person with a covenantal relationship to life.

Implementation

Tactics include: secular-religious storytellers to get the story told in every life situation in ways that can be understood and assimilated by every man; reflective travels to impact the consciousness of every man with concrete situations that allow him to see the story; catalytic archetypes to introduce intentional individuals, in subtle ways, into every situation of vocational and community life, in order that every primal community has a model for its renewal and its continuing style of life; living designs to provide new possibilities for life-style structures to allow every man to decide his style and appropriate the myth; and cultural history to provide a new context for appropriating the stories of all the cultures of the globe so that the individual can have a new feel for and extended perceptions of his own myth's place in the history-long story of mankind. An example is the assignment of a businessman who operates out of a new, comprehensive self-story to embody the new style for a corporation by his presence in the midst of his fellow workers.
