Arranging volunteer exam tutoring involves organizing and coordinating qualified individuals to provide free academic support to students preparing for examinations. Implementation
The UK Community Service Volunteers' project Learning Together has got students at 80 universities to tutor pupils in neighbouring schools. The programme has the support of the Lord mayor of London and five corporate sponsors. A bank, for instance, is focusing on mathematics, with pupils being tutored by their undergraduate mentors in financial literacy.
