Abandoning utopian projects

If you are going to innovate or foster innovation, you have to be willing, on occasion, to let go of your sense of how the world needs to be. You need to be able to ask the question "What would the world look like if I look at it differently ?". It does not mean letting go of your vision. It means you are willing to set it aside. It is part of realizing there are other visions that are equally valid and may be even ascendant at this time in history.
