Vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia syndrome

In 2021, the US Centers for Disease Control reported nine deaths from Vaccine-induced immune prothrombotic thrombocytopenia after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for Covid-19 was administered.  The US FDA restricted the use of the vaccine in May 2022.
