Unsupplemented school curriculum

  • Narrow school curriculum
  • Limited scope of educational curriculum
  • Static curriculum format
  • Rigid required curriculum

Incidence

The paucity of teaching materials, basic equipment and trained staff, especially in practical areas, available in the formal schooling structures of many developing and developed countries, limits education to only the bare fundamentals at the expense of breadth and practical relevance. This leads to irregular attendance on the part of students and decreasing enthusiasm and commitment on the part of the teachers.
