Political contributions by agents of foreign principals

Political contributions by foreign organizations and their agents in order to influence the out come of any election, referendum, caucus or political convention is a breach of national sovereignty and as such is a serious crime. Difficulties arise when dealing with this crime when a citizen acts as an agent for a foreign organization and when a transnational enterprise is involved through a local subsidiary.
