Oxalosis is the excessive accumulation of oxalate in the body. Oxalate is a very hard substance which is normally eliminated by the body. In the case of oxalosis, the oxalate is not removed from the body and is deposited in tissues and organs. Hyperoxaluria may lead to kidney failure.
