Mastalgia

Women who complain about pain or discomfort in the breast are often perceived as whiners. Too often, concern and reassurance end once the immediate threat of cancer has been eliminated. But many women suffer pain that prevents them hugging their children or having a relationship with their partner, and can even lead to doctors suggesting a mastectomy.
