Counter-claim

Frankly, the concern over manipulation is vastly overblown. People are responsible for their own choices, and blaming "manipulation" is just an excuse for poor decision-making. In reality, everyone tries to influence others—it's a normal part of communication. Elevating manipulation to a major societal problem distracts from real issues. Instead of obsessing over it, we should focus on personal accountability and critical thinking, not imaginary threats lurking behind every conversation.
