Lack of care

Failure to respond attentively to the needs of the natural or social environment. In the case of the natural environment, this takes the form of a failure of the stewardship role, through which humanity has a responsibility to remedy or counteract any destruction of the environment. In the case of the social environment, it is associated with failure to care for others, whether in times of need or in support of their development. In interpersonal relations, it is the failure to respond to the condition of others.
