A Belgian survey revealed that between 30 and 40 percent of 17 year-olds who have never had sex, plus 10 to 15 percent who have, had not seen or had no idea how to use a condom. Among those who claim that they have had several sexual partners, more than 60 percent admitted that they did not systematically use this simple form of protection.
