Fruit rot

Nature

Fruit grows old, flavourless and mushy as a result of normal ageing processes. This reduces the effective yield of fruit crops.

Counter claim

  1. The decay of fruit releases and feeds seeds, thus transferring the genes of the plant to the following generation.
