Small yellow or brown spots which appear on the exposed parts of the body during hot or windy weather; in some people they are virtually permanent features. They appear especially in people with delicate skin and red hair. They consist of small pigmented areas in the deeper part of the cuticle, which are stimulated to increased development by exposure.
