Eugenics

Deliberate human manipulation of the genetic expression of living organisms. Eugenic measures may be taken to keep the overall burden of hereditary disease and disability as low as possible (negative eugenics) although in the future it may be possible to devise measures to improve genetic health (positive eugenics).
