Elimination of wild horses

Claim

  1. Despite evidence that a few thousand wild horses have little or no effect on rangelands where millions of cattle and sheep graze, since 1985 the USA government has rounded up over 60,000. Fewer than 25,000 remain. The animals are either slaughtered, penned, or given away.
