Additionally, the World Health Organization reported that approximately 1 in 5 women experience sexual violence in their lifetime, indicating a troubling prevalence of depraved acts that undermine human dignity and safety.
A notable instance of depravity occurred in 2014 in Nigeria, where the militant group Boko Haram kidnapped 276 schoolgirls from Chibok. This act of mass abduction not only shocked the nation but also drew international condemnation, spotlighting the extreme moral violations occurring in conflict zones. The incident sparked the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, raising awareness about the ongoing issues of violence and exploitation in the region.
