Collusion between media and extreme political groups

One of the world's largest media barons, Rupert Murdoch, was secretly funding an extreme right-wing pressure group in the UK. Some of the money was used to support production of a "monthly intelligence analysis" of the extreme left, including labour politicians, which was circulated privately to "political leaders, Conservative members of parliament, journalists and others, including the Prime Minister of the day, Margaret Thatcher.
