Abusive collection of human genetic material

  • Human gene repository for extinct tribes

Incidence

Scientists working on the human genome project will visit at least 100 threatened races from whom blood samples will be taken, the white blood cells isolated and grown in cultures in perpetuity. The objectives are to create a permanent source of human genes -- possibly even after peoples have been wiped out or merged -- and to trace racial emergence, relationships and global movements.
