Sheets and leaflets

There are a number of short publications used for governmental, political and commercial purposes. They may be printed on one side of a single sheet or be printed as two pages to a side and folded once to make a four page leaflet. (If stitched, or wire-stapled or otherwise bound or glued, a small, multi-page format would properly be a pamphlet booklet or brochure.) Propaganda usage of leaflets includes dropping them on cities or military positions from aeroplanes. Commercial use of flyers and leaflets for advertising is a prevalent practise and the simple format leads itself to many other applications. Pamphlets have been very useful to set forth political rhetoric, and writers of such have been termed pamphleteers.
