Report

Reports are factual, analytical presentations, which may be investigative or expository, issued by individuals or collective competencies such as students or academics, or consultant experts on the one hand, and by boards, assemblies, panels, and agencies on the other. Reports from all levels of governmental bodies, from the local to international level, total tens of thousands of tons of material annually. The issuance of a report is used sometimes in judicial and political inquiries to terminate further inquiry by giving the report appearances of completeness and authoritativeness.
