Proceedings

Proceedings are the published record of a meeting of a society or organization, usually accompanied by abstracts or reports of papers presented at the meeting. They are indispensable as a record and as a source of information for research and development. On the other hand they often contain inordinate amounts of verbiage, for example, as in UN documents, and for that reason, are read hurriedly, and do not have the impact they should have.
