Poster

A poster is a work of graphic art usually consisting of a simple and coloured picture accompanied by a brief text. They are generally executed on large sheets of paper mainly for the purpose of advertising, communication, education or propaganda. Posters are usually visible at a great distance and combine special artistic devices in order to attract the viewer's attention and interest. Their visual impact is very efficient in communicating their message, but they are also a powerful means of mass manipulation as by their frequent appearance they mainly have a reinforcing effect on the viewer's unconsciousness and guide his will in the desired direction.
