Peer-mediated-learning group

A specialized type of small group session where the leader is one of the group. To be effective the leader needs specially prepared materials, and provision for feedback to the coordinator.[Advantages]

Useful with small groups with specified and limited learning objectives. Good for structurally spreading the responsibility for the whole process.

[Disadvantages]

There is often a certain amount of confusion which can waste time as the group gets clear on its objectives. A lot depends on the make-up of the group.
