Mimeograph

The mimeograph was the machine that first made underground and resistance presses possible, and was quickly adopted in academia for departmental and student publications. Preparing a mimeograph stencil is very easy since it is directly typed, handwritten or drawn upon. The mimeographic technique of reprographics has been surpassed by xerography except where variable paper weights and different coloured inks are required.
