Maximization conferencing

Major concern is given to the question of how to "maximize the interests" of the membership for example through political pressure to obtain favourable legislation or efforts to promote new awareness or beliefs. The conferencing tends to focus on the analysis of problems and constraints faced by the membership and proposals for action to influence those in a position to change or remove these constraints and problems.
