Guidebook

The term guidebook usually refers to a handbook for travellers that gives information about a region, or country, or city, or about a specific building, museum, etc. Official guidebooks may mislead visitors from everything such as weather to crime rates. They may also (typically) upgrade hotel status unjustifiably.
