Foldouts

Any publication insert that is wider than the publication (cover or pages) which requires one or several vertical folds to accomodate it. Foldouts are used for large drawings, tables, photographs and other matter. The alternatives to foldouts are the use of centerfolds or oversize covers with leaves, or unbound oversize inserts.
