Feuilleton

The section of a European newspaper that is given to reviews, light literature, feature articles, humourous or satirical fiction, and which has been frequently experimental in literary and journalistic form. In the feuilleton a number on important intellectual writers have made appeareness especially as it came to incorporate political material. In the United States and other countries the feuilleton is also represented by supplementary magazine sections, usually issued with Sunday or week-end editions.
