Electronic communications unit

Terminal given to each participant at a conference which can be used in all meeting and accommodation rooms. Messages can be stored and transferred either from the organizers to all (or selected) participants or between participants themselves. < [Advantages]

Used in conjunction with computer assisted contact formation, this process can dramatically decrease paper shuffling and increase the creative potential of the conferencing interchange.[Disadvantages]

This is still an expensive investment to make and the problems of system compatibility are not yet resolved so that notes stored on this system may not transfer easily to another.
