Catalogue

A list of books, art objects or other collected items. Used by libraries, art galleries, museums, antiquaries, anctimeers, etc. Items listed may be on exhibit, on sale, or accessible for study or other use. The principles of catalogue arrangement constitute a science, most developed in bibliographic and archival applications from which computerized developments have originated.
