Article

An article is a work of prose, mainly journalistic, usually identified by its own title and author in a publication containing many such works. It can be a newspaper article, or an article in a periodical or encyclopedia. Articles may impart useful and easily accessible knowledge about daily events, current world affairs or specific happenings and discoveries. Scientific articles offer up-to-date information related to the basic knowledge of the scientific reader. Badly documented or badly written articles are responsible for much misinformation which may have far-reaching negative consequences.
