Vocational training

This is the process of training for a specific occupation which is given in special institutes or settings where the working conditions are closely similar to those existing on the production line. Economically, such training is designed to provide industry with the skilled human resources needed to keep abreast of progress and economic expansion. Socially, it is important not to debar major sectors of the population of working age from all the benefits of modern life as well as ensuring equality of opportunity.
