Social renewal

The Wrekin Trust founded by Sir George Trevelyan, bases a series of conferences and courses on the premise that social renewal is possible though an inner, willed change in personal consciousness. Changes at material, psychic and spiritual level are not independent; and in this materialistic age the search through the innermost feelings for a meaning and purpose to life is expressed at the social level in the present widespread dissatisfaction, social unrest, terror, war and the breakdown of institutions. Courses and studies concerned with the evolution of consciousness and the deepest truths of all systems of philosophy and religion are designed to pass on ancient knowledge to those capable of using it, in order to attune to the creative intelligence of the universe and encourage the present revival in such spiritual knowledge.
