Social intelligence

Human development depends on man's intellectual capability, the capacity to create, acquire, distribute and use various types of knowledge. This capability has been amplified, imitated and advanced through artificial means. Currently there is radical expansion of intellectual capacity in industrialized countries, both of individuals and of their social structures which could be called an [intelligence revolution]

, a revolution in cognitive power. If intelligence is defined as the ability of a system to adjust appropriately to a changing world, then computer, communications and information technology are radically changing humanity's social intelligence. There is a growth of intelligence that could be referred to as an intelligence revolution. To keep abreast of this revolution, countries need computer literacy campaigns just as campaigns for reading and writing literacy were necessary in the past.
